This depends on several variable options, but you could calculate with about 2ha/MW.

what what size panel are we assuming to install? lets say 260 watt panels? 1mw divide by 260 = 3,846 of 260 watt panels. For ground mount type installation of 28 panels is approximately 696.32 sq ft or 64.4 sq. meter. 3846 divide by 28 panels is 137 (rounded to whole). then 137 x 64.4 = 8822 sq. meters or close to 1 hectare required space for installation.

It will heavily depend on the geographical location and on the geographical form of the area intended for installation. General rule would be that at least 2 times the area of modules. Note that the highest footprint would fall to the separation between rows for shading avoidance.

You'd have to project that in AutoCAD or some similar software, if you have more specific request I'd be happy to help.

Info needed pv modules, total number, planned mounting structure and method and available area. Note that you'd also heave to plan inverters, and their location, transformer and it's location, fencing, grounding and some other smaller issues.

Hope this helped.

Dear Dimitar, it really helps... Thank you for all. What I have received from all of you make my mind clear and my estimations are almost confirmed.
