Estimate ROI for BIPV (building integrated photovoltaic)?

What simulators are You using to estimate ROI for BIPV (building integrated photovoltaic)?

BIPV, PV, no matter: A watt is a watt, a PV watt at X azimuth and Y tilt will produce nearly identically as BIPV at X azimuth and Y tilt. Possible differences would be if it iwere thin film, since that does better than silicon in diffused or low angle light, let alone hot climates but this is not a function of being BIPV or not. So, an ROI simulator will be based on accounting and annual kWh production estimates and those estimates can be gotten from the same source, whether PV or BIPV; example, PVWatts, PVSYS...

PVsol is good, but its price is expensive . the module & companies update is slowly.

I would like to use this for integrated building simulations, especially fascades and other building constructions. Most of the programs haven't got actual prices ?

OPAL-RT performs a vital test known as Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation. HIL is a technique used in the development and testing of complex real-time embedded systems. HIL simulation provides an effective virtual environment by connecting the complexity of the plant being designed to the development and test platform. Our simulators will have the micro grid thinking that it is connected to the transmission grid, thus allowing an abundant series of tests to ensure the conducive islanding operation, protection coordination, reliability and power quality liability, cost development in the needed interconnection technologies and restoration from scheduled and unscheduled shut downs.

But this is real time verification built installation, the final product. I want to do early simulation with prices etc. I want to do accurate SIL (Software in the loop).

You can try ARCHELIOS http://www.archelios.com/, which estimates yields and economic indicators like ROI or NPV of PV plants.
BIPV projects are made easy thanks to a plugin in SketchUp. See the tutorial video on http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Ie78J3yWN0g#!
